Get to Know Wesley
Though currently living in Washington Heights in NYC, Wesley Hodges is a native of Memphis, TN. Growing up singing in church and in his various school choirs, music has always been a huge part of his growth as a person and a performer. This inspired him to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Southern Mississippi. Through this program, he gained a greater appreciation and desire to pursue musical theatre. After attaining his undergraduate degree, Wesley then moved to Oklahoma City University where he received a Master’s degree in Musical Theatre.
Wesley enjoys expanding his capabilities and experiences through performing roles in various genres and styles of music and theatre. Some of his favorite roles include Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Tom Collins in Rent, Harpo in The Color Purple, and Curtis in Sister Act!
Having performed in musicals, concerts, and operas at theaters and venues around the country, Wesley loves traveling to new states and cities to experience the different and wonderful cultures, traditions, and (especially) food that exist throughout the country and world.
When not on the stage, Wesley can be found on a soccer field, at home playing FIFA, binging shows on Netflix, or exploring the local eateries in town!
